A token amount of 2000 Ghana cedis was presented to Miss Zuweira Baba Mohammed in the studios of Citi FM in Accra. Plans are also in place to get her a laptop to start with her tertiary education.
This was in fulfilment of a promise made by the Token Fund Initiative to award students from the three northern regions of Ghana who shall perform extremely well in their academic works.
Miss Zuweira is the maiden beneficiary of this initiative in view of her academic achievements this year. She was crowned the best female contestant at this year’s NATIONAL SCIENCE AND MATHEMATICS QUIZ in Ghana. Not only that, she also made an aggregate six in the just published 2017 WASSCE results. The idea behind this initiative is to motivate our young siblings to take up their studies seriously.
