Medeama SC midfielder Richard Boadu ‘Agadas’ has expressed his admiration for Asante Kotoko.
Richard Boadu in an interview with Kumasi based radio station Nhyira FM expressed his desire to play for Asante Kotoko after Medeama.
“I support a team i play, but Asante Kotoko is a team that I would want to play one day. I was born and bred in Kumasi.”
“Kotoko is a club in Ghana i would like to play after Medeama if i don’t travel outside”, he told Nhyira FM.
The midfielder who idolizes retired Spanish midfielder Xabi Alonso went on to advise people in authority in Kumasi to stop sacrificing community pitches for building stores amongst others.
“Community football in Kumasi has helped to developed a lot of footballers. Our local authorities sacrifice our community pitches for building of stores and others.”
“And it is a time they have to also look at how it has helped developed some talents. That’s my advise”.
Boadu was an integral member of the Medeama team that were on fire in the just annulled Premier league season, he featured in 14 league matches.
