Covid-19: Death rate rises to 5, 141 confirmed cases

The Ministry of Health has confirmed 141 cases of the covid-19 virus as of Saturday, 28th March , 2020. New death recorded making it five.
The dead people were those who were tested positive under surveillance.

None among those observing the mandatory quarantine has died from the virus.

The president, Akufo Addo, has imposed restrictions on movement in some parts of the country. Affected areas include highly populated Accra, Kumasi, Kasoa, Tema and among others.
Some essential services are exempted from this restriction. They include shop attenders, market traders, commercial transports, fueling stations, food vendors and to mention few.
Commercial transports are to reduce the number of passengers whereas motorbikers are not supposed to carry any passenger.
A minimum force is to be applied by the security forces to ensure compliance of the directives.
